Flu Clinic 2020

Children born between 1st September 2016 – 31st August 2018

Parents of patients born between 1st September 2016 and 31st August 2018 are invited to make an appointment in one of our flu clinics.

Eligibility

Parents should be aware that:

  • The children will receive the nasal flu vaccination
  • Only one parent should attend with the child (no other adults or children)
  • Both the parent and child should be symptom free. Please do not attend if either have any cough, temperature or any other COVID-19 symptoms or if self-isolating
  • When attending a face covering must be work
  • Temperatures may be checked on arrival at the practice’
  • Social distancing measures will be in place so please be patient if there is a short wait or queue
  • We request that you arrive on time for your appointment. The waiting facilities will not be available so please do not arrive ahead of the appointment time
  • To facilitate the flow of patients pushchairs will not be allowed

Children born between 1st September 2008 – 31st August 2016

Please note that children born between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2016 inclusive will receive their flu via the schools programme. The practice does not receive supplies to cover children in this age group and are therefore unable to give them in the practice.

Aged under 18 & clinically at risk? (excluding those born in the above dates)

We have now begun contacting the parents of children who are clinically at risk and therefore eligible to receive the nasal flu. Please be aware that appointments are needed.

We have begun contacting our Pregnant, at risk patients and those born before 31st March 1956 to make an appointment to attend for their flu vaccination. If you receive an invitation
