Please let the hospital know in good time.

Not letting the hospital know that you cannot attend is a waste of resources and does not help the waiting times for appointments.

Think before you cancel or just do not attend appointments, you may go back to the bottom of the list or you can be taken off and have to be re-referred by the GP.

• Pathology Tests
• X-Rays
• ECGs (Heart Tests)
• Ultrasounds

All the above tests are done at the Hospital and when you receive your pathology forms, it will advise on the back the time the departments are open.

Most departments are open from 09:00 to 16:00 every day.

Some pathology tests are done in pre-booked appointments at the surgery, but only from 09:00 to 09:45 because we have a porter who collects the specimens from the Hospital who comes at 10:00.
