• Diabetic Eye Screening

If you have diabetes and are over 12-year-old you will receive a letter every 1 to 2 years inviting you to have your eye screening, as you may be at risk of developing an eye condition called diabetic retinopathy which can cause sight loss.

Your sight may be blurry for a few hours after the diabetic eye screening due to the drops they put in your eye to make the pupil larger to take photographs.
